Curbside Pickup Policy –

To ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all our valued customers, we’ve implemented the following curbside pickup policy:

Pickup Address:

Old Bridge, NJ 08857- We are a cottage bakery Address will be given on your invoice. 

How It Works:

Please plan your pick up within the following time windows, done in 15-minute increments:

Monday – Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Friday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Arrival Instructions

Arrive at your scheduled pickup time and park in front of (Adress given on your invoice), Old Bridge, NJ 08857.

Stay in Your Vehicle until we come out 

We’ll bring your order out to you. No need to come to the door.

Please turn on your hazard lights our cameras will alert us to your arrival.

For a Safe Quick and Efficient Delivery: We'll place your order directly into your clean, air-conditioned vehicle—just let us know if you prefer the floor of your front seat, back seat, or trunk. Staff will provide you with care instructions.

Please Be on Time & Prepared. Arrive promptly at your scheduled pickup time. Being on time allows us to serve all customers efficiently. Have space ready in your vehicle for us to place your order quickly and safely.

If someone else is picking up your order, it is your responsibility to inform them of all policies. They will be accepting the order on your behalf, so they must know where to park, stay in the car, and be prepared for handoff. 

Late Arrivals & Missed Pickups: 

Orders not picked up on time will need to be rescheduled. If you arrive after hours, a $25 per hour late fee may apply. We cannot guarantee availability outside your scheduled window.

Responsibility After Departure: 

At Cupcakes by Jenn Bakery & Events, we take great care in preparing and packaging your goodies with love and attention. Once your order has been picked up and you leave the premises, the responsibility for the condition and safety of your items transfers to you.

Please double-check your order before leaving to ensure everything is correct and in good condition. If there are any concerns, we’re happy to address them while you're still here.

· All items are considered accepted and in good condition once they leave our premises.

· We are not responsible for damage or mishandling that occurs after pick-up (including during transport or storage).

Delivery Policy: 

Please inspect your order upon delivery and ensure it is placed in your desired location. Once delivery is complete and our team has left the premises, we are no longer responsible for any damage that may occur if the order is moved.

To maintain product integrity and safety, please ensure the following:

· Keep the order out of direct sunlight

· Store indoors with air conditioning on

· Keep out of reach of children

· Do not leave out for more than 4 hours total

For rental items:

Rentals must be returned within 24 hours of use 

Setup and pickup will be scheduled by our team

Payment Policy: 

At Cupcakes by Jenn Bakery & Events, we strive to make the payment process simple and transparent. Please review the following policies carefully:

Accepted Payment Methods

· Zelle: cupcakesbyjennshop@gmail.com

· Venmo: Jennifer-Villa-25 (Code: TBD on your invoice)

· Credit/Debit: A secure payment link can be sent upon request. Please note: a 3.5% convenience fee + tax applies.

· Cash: Accepted in person.

· Checks are not accepted.

Deposit & Balance

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your order.

The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to pick up or delivery.

If the deposit is not received within 48 hours of receiving your invoice, the invoice will be cancelled and the date released.

Non-Refundable Deposit Policy: 

To secure your custom order, Cupcakes by Jenn Bakery & Events requires a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This deposit reserves your date and allows us to purchase the ingredients and supplies needed for your order.

· Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations or changes made by the customer.

· The deposit is applied toward the final balance of your order.

· Your order is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

· Remaining balances must be paid in full by the due date listed on your invoice.

No Refund Policy: 

Every cake, cupcake, and dessert we create is custom-made with care, specifically for you. Because of this, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds or exchanges.

We kindly ask that you carefully review all details (flavors, sizes, designs, pickup/delivery information) before confirming your order. Once payment is received, ingredients and supplies are purchased and work begins on your custom items.

If there is ever a concern with your order, please notify us immediately upon pickup/delivery. While refunds are not available, we will do our best to resolve the issue, which may include store credit or a replacement item, at our discretion.

Allergy & Kitchen Safety Policy: 

At Cupcakes by Jenn Bakery & Events, we care about our customers and want everyone to enjoy our treats with peace of mind. We are happy to discuss and do our best to accommodate allergy concerns or dietary requests. However, we kindly ask you to note the following:

• Not an Allergen-Free Kitchen: All      of our baked goods are made in a home kitchen that may come into contact      with common allergens such as milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts,      and sesame. While we take care in handling ingredients, we cannot      guarantee that any item is completely free from allergens.
• Communication is Key: Please let      us know about any allergies or sensitivities at the time of your order. We      will do everything possible to minimize risk, but we want you to be fully      informed when choosing our products.
• Shared Responsibility
      By placing an order, you understand and accept that our kitchen is not      certified allergy-free. We cannot assume liability for any allergic      reactions, and we encourage customers with severe allergies to use their      best judgment before enjoying our treats.

Your safety and enjoyment are very important to us, and we are always happy to answer questions about our ingredients.

Illness & Order Completion Policy: 

At Cupcakes by Jenn Bakery & Events, the health and safety of our customers always comes first. Because we operate as a home-based bakery, there may be rare occasions when illness or unexpected circumstances prevent us from completing an order.

• Food Safety First: If the baker becomes sick and is unable to safely prepare your order, we will notify you as soon as possible. We will never compromise food safety or quality.
• Refund or Reschedule Options: In the event your order cannot be completed due to illness:
  • A full refund of any payments made will be issued, or
  • If possible, you may choose to reschedule your order for a later date, based on availability.
• Alternative Arrangements: If time allows, we will do our best to refer you to another trusted local baker who may be able to fulfill your order, though we cannot guarantee availability.
• Customer Understanding: By placing an order, you acknowledge that illness or emergencies may occasionally impact order fulfillment. We promise transparency, timely communication, and a fair resolution in these rare situations.
